Mi trabajo
MY JOB! I got my job description this week- very exciting! It was explained in very general terms because we are all walking by faith as the team is forming and the opportunities are opening up. We had a team meeting a week ago with the pastor and pastoral interns and their wives. It was a good time of prayer and getting to know a little of the experiences and stories of each one. Some of the things I will be doing are working with a new after school program at the Santa Anita, where my main ministry will be, creating English as a second language ministry at each church plant and then help the Rosses in the next steps for the Huaycan Cristo Salvador project. Mauro and his wife Haydee are very laid back and fun loving newlyweds so I'm excited to work along side them. Although these were all given as somewhat nebulous ideas I was very excited about all of them. I see areas where I'll be challenged (in CREATING a MINISTRY) and where I hope to use some of my experience but all of it very differently than I've ever worked before. The beginning stages will be more "office work;" planning and preparing, that doesn't make me so excited but it is all part of the process! I will be a part of the Evangelism Explosion when it starts up again in late fall or next year. There is a possibility of discipling some young girls who have recently become Christians through EE this fall. God is so generous to me!

Exciting indeed! I'm so proud of you, my ever-service-oriented friend . . . God is gracious to you, I believe, because you are open to His grace. Eres una hija estimada de Dios :-)
Sounds like things are starting to progress for you and your ministry team, Susan. Hopefully the preparation process will come naturally for you! Love ya!
