Good News... Bad News!?
I was suprised to find out today I´ll be here another full month- probably until the middle of July! Pedro says I have some things to iron out and then we can work on level 3, being able to explain yourself on deeper topics. That´s good and bad! I was advised to do between 3 and 6 months of language school but was really hoping for 3! I was excited to go to Lima and ¨get in on the action¨ but was also sad to leave the family here and this new place that was beginning to feel comfortable! Just a chance to work on contentedness! I want to be present to whatever the Lord has for me. In some ways that is an easy way to live, but it´s so different from my initial response!

It's hard going into a new situation sometimes because there's always a level of awkwardness...and we are sometimes thrown in the situations of that. We get to the point where we are getting comfortable and then it's time to move on...it's crazy...but what a great experience to get to know your new hosting family and others. I'll continue to pray for you in your travels!
it's odd how time works and what intitially seems like ages flies by in no time. i'm reading this post now chuckling at how i was about to write something commiserating and then i realized that july is already just around the corner :-)
at any rate, what i do know is that your current "home" is enriched to have you for a bit longer than you initially expected . . . and that your next one will be richer to have you when you get there!
