¡Titulado!
I had a fun experience last night! Ana has been working on her thesis for a year and a half and she presented it last night. Her theme was creating a company that produces Andean granola bars. They are called Misky bars and have quinoa and kiwicha pop( two grains widely preduced here that have many health benefits) in them. She and her partner had to create the company from scratch and organize it. They also had test groups and tried many granola bars from the States. Fortunately, her brother does graphic design and helped her to create a box, poster and the bar wrapper. They decided that they couldn´t actually create this product because the machine that wraps those bars is specailized and very expensive. It was fun and a little nerve wracking to watch them present after their many late nights working on this. After the presentation the professors ask questions and then we had to wait outside while the ( ate their bars) and deliberated! I decided I understood almost all of it which is pretty good for post graduate business vocabulary. With all their calculation they found that the investment would be realized in 9 years! If any one is looking for a business to invest in... (McCarthy!)
Afterwards (9:30) we went to eat Chifa- Peruvian chinese food- a food I´ve been waiting to try. It´s a little but like our Chinese food but I think it made me miss my family! They were all together celebrating by eating out- a custom in my family as well! And it reminded me of my sister´s master´s presentation a few years ago and the sweet family girl time!

Our family tradition of eating out is much recognized by the 2nd newest member of the family...Mr. Sommers...he said the other night "that's all you guys do...breakfast, lunch, and dinner"...maybe dad wouldn't agree all the time but what a way to have everyone together...hey I'll take what I can get!!!! I love you so my sister, Sue

That's great that her presentation went so smoothly. That sounds like a fun and creative project (organizing the whole scheme and idea of the product).
I'm glad you enjoyed the Chinese food...memories so similar make us reminisce about family and friends. Just know that as much as you are thinking of them (family and friends)...they (we) are thinking of you! Love you lots!
